Meet Our Chiropractor
Surinder
Surinder is a Certified Athletic Therapist, graduating from the Sports Injury Program at Sheridan College and holds a BSc in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo.
With over 20 years of clinical practice, Surinder is a continuous learner, having taken several post-graduate courses related to manual treatment and clinical rehabilitation of the active population.
Along with providing treatment, Surinder has a special interest in providing custom and off the shelf bracing to individuals for a variety of needs.
He draws his clinical practice from working in a variety of sports settings and teams, working with elite and world class athletes, as well continually attending conferences and workshops. He is a strong believer of educating the patient and empowering them to help them succeed in a successful rehabilitation program for all levels of activity.
Surinder was the former Head Therapist for the Canadian National Wrestling Team. He has been on the medical team for several major games including past 5 Olympics Games, 2014 and 2010 Commonwealth Games, Pan American Games, several World Championships. Surinder has provided Athletic Therapy consultation to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats Football Club of the CFL as part of their performance enhancement team for the 8 years. Until recently he held a teaching position at Sheridan College for over 10 years in the Athletic Program.

Custom Bracing
All custom braces will be fitted by Surinder. The following is the process for booking.
Patient calls looking for the following:
- ACL, PCL brace
- Having Surgery for ACL
- OA knee bracing
- Bracing for Osteoarthritis of the knee
Take patients contact info.
- Name
- Phone number
- Email (not necessary)
- Nature of injury/reason for brace
Call Surinder with information so he can follow up with patient and complete booking
Surinder will take care of all quotes and payment process required for bracing.

Bracing FAQ
How long is the consult?
Bracing consults are one hour in length. During that time, he will determine what brace would be appropriate for you to use, complete the measurement process and answer all questions
What do I wear for the appointment?
Patients need to wear shorts, or clothing that can be pulled up to the upper part of the thigh and expose the leg
What is the cost of the custom braces?
Generally speaking, the cost of the brace is $1850 to start. There is no additional taxes to the brace
Does insurance cover bracing?
Yes, most insurance packages will cover the cost of custom braces. Coverage can range from a percentage of the cost to the full amount
How long does it take to make the brace?
Once you are ready for the brace, turnaround time is approximately 1-2 weeks
What if I have a problem with the brace?
Surinder will manage all issues regarding the brace. Should he not be able to fix the problem, the rep from the company will come in and help with troubleshooting
What if I have a problem with the brace?
The unique part with Surinder, is that he carries all the major custom knee braces so that he can find that brace that best suits you.
Those include: VQ, Breg, Bledsoe, Donjoy, and Osskin
