What is a Certified Athletic Therapist?

Athletic Therapy specialises in the prevention, assessment and treatment of injuries to bones, muscles, joints and ligaments, as well as concussion assessment and management.

Certified Athletic Therapists (AT’s) are health care professionals who treat acute and chronic injuries using the Sports Medicine Model of Care.  AT’s treat a variety of patients from children to seniors at all levels of activity, including recreational and elite athletes to the active lifestyle individual.  AT’s use an active approach to rehabilitation and treat the whole body to return a patient to their regular activities in a quick, safe and efficient manner.

How can we help you?
